Reservations

  • Holding Deposit: $500.00 deposit is due and payable at the time of making the reservation.
  • Balance Due: The remaining balance is due 45 days prior to arrival in the form of a check. Payments not received on time will be subject to cancellation.
  • A $50.00 Management fee is required with every reservation. This fee is taxable.
  • Transient Occupancy Tax: A 10.5% tax is charged by the city of San Diego for any reservation that is less than a month. A month is considered by the City as from one calendar date to the next month same date.
  • Security Deposit: All rentals will require a refundable security deposit, typically $500, refundable within 21 days after departure.
  • All reservations are subject to owner approval.
Cancellations
Cancellation of reservations will result in the following: Cancellations 45 days prior to arrival, monies will not be refunded unless we can get it re-rented. Cancellations outside the 45 days prior to arrival, monies will be refunded. ALL CANCELLATIONS are charged a $250.00 cancellation fee.

Check-in/check-out time
Check out time is 10:00 a.m. Check in time is 3:00 p.m. It is necessary to strictly enforce both times as units must be cleaned and minor maintenance done between vacationers.

Pets

Maid Service

• The property will be clean prior to your arrival and upon your departure. We ask that you follow the departure instructions exactly to ensure the full refund of your deposit. If you require maid service during your stay please let us know and can arrange it for you at an additional cost.

Phone Use

• The majority of the units have long distance calls blocked. We recommend bringing a prepaid phone card or calling card. Some units do provide wireless internet please be sure to ask.

Smoking
• NO SMOKING

Occupancy & Use
The demised premise shall be used and occupied by guests exclusively as a vacation residence, and neither the premise nor any part thereof shall be used at any time during the term of the lease by the guests for the purpose of carry on business, profession, or trade of any kind, or for any purpose other than that of a vacation rental.

Guests agree that the demised premise shall be occupied by no more than the number of persons listed on your registration form.

• Exceeding stated and/or reasonable occupancy can result in the loss of use of a unit as well as rent. Entertaining which can result in damage to the unit or interfere with the peaceful enjoyment of other residents, is prohibited.

Lost or stolen items
• Neither Coastal Choice Properties nor the owners of the said property will be held responsible for any items discovered missing during a guests stay. Please do not leave personal items unattended.

Parking spaces/garages in beach units are often small. If you have a large vehicle, please check with an agent for parking information at specific units.
